How to get there

Whether you are traveling from near or far, we recommend flying into Athens, then either driving, booking a car service or taxi, or taking a bus to Kalamata, which takes about 3 hours. There is an airport in Kalamata, however it is quite small so if you would prefer to fly directly, we suggest doing some research into which other European cities (such as Frankfurt) works as a layover on your journey there. Another recommendation would be to break up the drive from Athens, for example with a stop in lovely Nafplion.
